Rainy Day to Quilt here at Pine Valley Quilts.
Tavern Reds Quilt is almost finished, pushing on with the outside borders. I can almost see the finish line. Can you tell how much I want this quilt finished……… it seems to have dragged on as there have been a few breaks with this quilt while I have worked on other quilts.
I hoped it might magically get quilted while sitting by the sewing machine…… maybe the quilting fairies would have done it while I was busy with other things. But…… no such luck. It seems the sewing machine only works when I am sitting at it! LOL
I must admit I have moved on from this quilt quite a while ago and have a line up of quilts waiting to be quilted that I am itching to start.
Union Blues Quilt is patiently waiting, this quilt is a good size to quilt. There will not be so much detail quilting on this one. Sometimes its nice to have less quilting giving the quilt a softer look and feel.
Whimsical Baskets Quilt now finished and waiting to be quilted is also on my to do list. I can’t wait to start quilting this one. Quilting on the linen background will be interesting, there is so many options for the quilting style on this quilt. Maybe cross hatch and straight lines would look great.
Meanwhile today I will soldier on with Tavern Reds, only a few days work and it will be done.
